Walking Practice

Gavin loves this little walker. He'll spend about 10 minutes going back and forth from the living room to the kitchen and back. He gets so proud of himself when he gets to walk.

Let's try that again, without the falling.

Great Monday

I am so proud of myself. I love to bargain shop but I'm not very good at it. I'm so jealous of those people who can always find what they want and it's always on sale. We just had a new Target open close to my house. They sent these coupons to everyone in the close neighborhoods so Mon. I thought I'd do my grocery shopping at Target. It was awesome! Most of the stuff was on sale and you could use the coupons on top of it. I got $75 worth of stuff and I only paid $45 and that includes a $15 can of formula and $6 baby wipes. Everything I bought was either on sale or I had a coupon for it. Now I know that was Target's whole idea in the first place to get people to come into the store, but it was still cool. That's the best bargain shopping I think I've done in a very long time.





Then, when Kevin got home, I got to plant my strawberries. Strawberries are my favorite fruit. I got kind of spoiled before college because my dad had a big strawberry patch. We had so many we didn't know what to do with them. I made Kevin promise that when we had our first house I got to plant strawberries. This year he kept his promise. He built me a planter box to put them in. He finished it Mon. night. I am so excited for them to grow.













Monday was a good day.

Warm weather

Things have been heating up here in Austin. It was supposed to be really warm on Wed. so we went to the park for playgroup. Landan loves going to the park. He usually runs around with whoever will play transformers with him. Gavin just likes being out with people. He's pretty laid back. I took some pictures of them on the green grass.


PS. My baby is already 10 months old. Can you believe it?!
