9 Months

I can't believe my baby is already 9 months. What in the world happened. She's so fun to be around. She entertains herself most of the time, she loves her brothers and follows them around everywhere. Her smile is so precious. We love this girl!
She had her 9 month appt on the 8th and she weighed 14 lbs, 4 oz. Still such a little thing. But she's meeting all her milestones. She pulls herself to a stand and she cruises slowly on occasion. And she can stand by herself for about 2 seconds. She's such a sweetheart.

Cookies please!

Now that Landan can spell and read, we can't spell things we don't want the kids to hear while they are in the room. But the other day we were asking Landan if he wanted some cookies because he had eaten his dinner. Gavin hadn't eaten his dinner so he wasn't allowed any but we knew if we mentioned it he would get upset if he didn't get any. He just doesn't understand why Landan gets some and he doesn't. There is no reason he shouldn't be able to eat nothing but cookies all day. So in order to stave off the inevitable tantrum we told Landan:

"Since you ate your dinner, you may have some c-o-o-k-i-e-s later."

Landan thought for a second and said, "OK"

Then Gavin gets this big smile on his face and says, " I have some O-O-P too?"

Now every time Gavin wants cookies he asks us, "I have some O-O-P now?"

Little Boys

My boys were playing so nicely together, I had to take a picture of it. It is such a rare occasion.

8 months

I know this is a month late but these are pictures from when Kylie turned 8 months old. And yes, that little clippie in her hair is not on a headband, it is actually in her hair. It didn't stay long, but it was there for a little bit.

Christmas Catch-up

Warning: A LOT of pictures. This is my Christmas Catch-up picture blog. Enjoy!

Thanks Aunt Ashlyn. We love the cute shirt.

Winter Snow

Down here in Texas we got a little taste of the winter storm that has been sweeping the nation. While my poor in-laws were buried under several feet of snow, we had school cancelled on Fri. because we actually got some snow too. Kevin went into work late because there was a sheet of ice on the ground underneath the snow on the roads and there were so many people wrecking while going to work that it wasn't safe to be on the roads. So he sat inside with Kylie and I took the boys out early to play.

Our house. There was more snow on the sidewalk than on the grass.

And of course, it wouldn't be a proper day without coming inside and having some hot chocolate.
