Lost in Translation

Have you ever wondered if there were some way to actually communicate with your baby. Well now you can. Sit back, relax, and watch this informative instructional video made for your viewing pleasure.

If you can't understand this video, then step away from the computer, and look very deep inside for that inner child that we all tried to hide in pursuit of this crazy thing we call adulthood. Have you found it yet? It is worth the search, believe me you'll live longer.

Funny Faces

Binkie my foot!!

Who needs a binkie. God gave us toes for a reason. This must be it.

Landan the Builder.

This is the first time that Landan has ever really built something by himself. He always asks us to build stuff for him. He was so proud of his track that he built for his Geotrax trains. He didn't realize that it didn't go anywhere and wasn't connected to itself but at least he was using his creative juices by himself. I was so proud of him.

Halloween weekend.

We had a very busy weekend. First Kevin built a planter bed for our front yard. He's been saving up blocks over several weeks and he finally got enough to build the bed. It looks really nice. It needs some new plants which which we plan on putting in during spring.

And then, as you can see from the pictures, we decorated for Halloween. It was really fun. I'm thinking we need a few more decorations to round out the look but it looks ok for now.

And this is our Halloween village we put up in our house. I love decorating for Halloween!

Baby Food

My baby's getting so big! I decided to start him on solids a little earlier than I had planned. I was going to wait until he was 5 mo. which is in a week, but he's so intersted in what we're eating and he grabs everything all the time I thought I'd try it. I gave him some rice cereal on Mon. He still spit a lot of it out but it went pretty well. This is his first spoonful...

And this is what he thought about it...

He loved it. He kept trying to grab the spoon out of my hand and feed himself. He's getting to be such a big boy. Where does the time go? Here's some more pics...

"I can to it myself Mommy."

"MMMM, this is good."

"Finally some real food. I love it!"

"I'm full. Time for a nap."
