We started off going to a couple garage sales. I found a couple cute clothes items for the baby that were cheap. We then had a very good lunch and decided to go to the park. Landan loves going to a park. It's a great place to run off some energy. He always manages to find a friend there too. He's such a friendly kid, everyone is immediately his friend.
It was a beautiful 80 degrees today so we decided to cool off with a slip n' slide we found cheap at Walmart. Landan was a little nervous at first. He doesn't really like splashing water so at first he just looked on.
We eventually convinced him to run through the water but he would only go if we were holding his hand.
Finally Daddy was able to convince him, after many demonstrations from Daddy, to slide on it like it was made to be used. He only did it twice but we got him to do it.
After we played outside I cut Landan's hair, and we had dinner. After such a busy day we decided to watch Star Wars. It was apparently too much for Landan because by 6:30 he looked like this...
Sometimes the best way to get over your stress is to just forget the reasons you were stressed for a while and have some fun. Like they always say..."Laughter is the best medicine."

I love those nap mats. We use our quite a bit. We like having family sleep overs in the living room.
What a fun day! What I would give to have weather that was warm enough to wear a bathing suit!
