Keeping Things in Perspective

As everyone else has, I too have made some weight loss goals for the new year. So far I haven't fallen off the weightloss plan, but, time will tell. I am quickly learning that although my son was slow to talk at first, he's much smarter than I realize and picks things up quicker than I know. He got some new bath toys from Santa this year for Christmas and so now he wants to take a bath at least once a day (usually 2-3 times). He took a bath a few days ago and insisted on stepping on the scale before getting in. I thought it would be cute until he looked at me after getting on and exclaimed, "That's retarded!" I wonder where he's seen that before. Last night he got on the scale again and this time he said, "This is ridiculous!" Apparently we're all worried about our weight loss plans in this house.
